Twocommon types of EPSS are Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and Interactive Courseware(ICW).The use of EPSSs is increasing within many industries as the quantity of information that workers must haveaccess to increases. Because organizations are increasing their investments in these systems, it is important thatthey have a way to protect their investments by representing all aspects of the EPSS in a device independentmanner.
