It isintended also to provide a suitablesource for teaching and for reference,briefly covering basic theoreticaland practical principles ofstandardization, certification andlaboratory accreditation.It is not the aim of this documentto duplicate definitions of termsadequately defined for generalpurposes in other authoritativeinternational vocabularies.
