適用范圍：1.1 GeneralThis standard establishes requirements for performing and documenting the First Article Inspection (FAI).1.2 PurposeThe purpose of the First Article Inspection is to give objective evidence that all engineering, design andspecification requirements are correctly understood, accounted for, verified, and recorded. The purpose of thisstandard is to provide a consistent documentation requirement for aerospace components FAI.1.3 ConventionThe following convention is used in this standard.- The words “shall” and “must” indicate mandatory requirements.- The word “should” indicates mandatory requirements with some flexibility allowed in compliancemethodology. An organization is permitted to show that its approach meets the intent of the requirementand this standard.- Words “typical”, “example” or “e.g.” show suggestions given for guidance only.- “Notes” are used for additional clarification.
