適用范圍：1.1 These requirements cover exhibition display unit constructions that are intenaed for indoor use for thepurpose of illuminating，animating，activating，or displaying with respect to temporary expositions，exhibits，show conventions，meetings，or assemblies These units are intended for temporary construction anddisplav at exposition events Electrical components and systems shall be used in accordance with theNational Electrical Code NFPA 70 and with the installation requirements of this standard Theserequirements also cover poRable tradeshow displays，hanging components，and other exhibit assemblies1.2 These requirements cover exhibition display units rated 600 volts ac or less1.3 These requirements COVer light boxes for use with exhibition display units Electric adve~isingdisplays and electric signs are covered by Standard for Electric Signs，UL 481.3.1 These requirements cover under carpet convention center COrd sets and assembled on or moldedon attachment plugs and cord conRectors．rated 250 volts dc or less or 600 volts ac or less，that areintended to supply temporary power from an exhibit facillty to an exhibition display unlt 0r to exhibitorequipment and products that are displayed or exhlbited withln the exhlbition display unlt ln accordancewith 51 8 3(B1 of the National Electrical Code，ANSI／NFPA 70 1.3.I added J LJrlel3 20031.4 These requirements do not cover products that are displayed or exhibited within the exhibition displayunit，such as cars，audio equipment，appliances，or exhibitor equipment1.5 These requirements do not Cover combustible materials stored within an exhibition display unit，suchas promotional pamphlets or giveaways1.6 These requirements do not cover the use of the following materials and thei r interconnectingcomponents used in an exhibition display unit：a)Natural gas—fired equipment，b)Cooking equipment，c)Open flame devicesd)Exhibits involving processes or materials that present a risk of inju ry to persons，e)Pressure vessels，n Fossil fuel powered equipmentg)Hydraulically powered equipment using flammable fluids，h)Radiation producing devices，including lasersi)Flammable liquids，andj)Compressed air that is determined to be not part of an exhibition display unitCopyright．by the UndenEi[ers LaboraLories]ncSun Sep 05 10：23：07 2004
