適用范圍：This part of IS0 10792 specifies the characteristics ofspherical plain bearings in corrosion-resisting steelwith self-lubricating liner, narrow and wide series, forelevated loads at ambient temperature, for use infixed or moving parts of the aircraft structure andcontrol mechanisms at temperatures of -55 “C to+I63 “C.It is applicable to self-lubricating spherical plainbearings (without rolling elements) consisting of anouter ring having a concave sphered sliding contactsurface with self-lubricating liner and inner ring havinga matched convex sphered sliding contact surface.At the time that this part of IS0 10792 wasdeveloped, airframe spherical plain bearings withdimensions originally specified in Imperial units weredominant in world application. For this part ofIS0 10792, the dimensions of these bearings havebeen converted into metric units with the originalcharacteristics given in annex A for information only.For new applications, the use of the bearingsspecified in IS0 10792-l is recommended.
