適用范圍：This guide is intended to make recommendations for the standardization of maintainability practices, and to stimulate ideas in the maintainability field. Organizations acquiring items will find the guide useful in assisting them in defining maintainability requirements and associated programmes. Item suppliers will benefit from use of the guide, gaining an understanding of the requirements for achieving and verifying maintainability objectives.This publication includes Sections One, Two and Three of the Guide on Maintainability. Final publication of the complete series which will comprise seven sections, is expected to take several years, but, since each section is able to make a contribution to the needs of other IEC Technical Committees, it has been decided to issue each section as it is approved for publication. When all sections are completed, a combined guide will be published.Titles for all the sections of this series are:* Section One — Introduction to maintainability.* Section Two — Maintainability requirements in specifications and contracts.* Section Three — Maintainability programme. Section Four — Test and diagnostic procedures. Section Five — Maintainability design studies. Section Six — Maintainability verification.Section Seven — Collection, analysis and presentation of data related to maintainability.Sections Four to Seven will be published as subsequent parts of this Publication.
