適用范圍：This standard covers built-in ballasts, for use on a.c. supplies up to 250 V at 50 Hz, associated with tubular fluorescent lamps with pre-heated cathodes operated with or without a starter switch and having rated wattages, dimensions and characteristics as specified in SS 122*. It applies to complete ballasts and to their component parts such as reactors, transformers and capacitors having a capacitance equal to or less than 0.1 μF.Capacitors having a capacitance of greater than 0.1 μF are covered by SS 123.This standard does not cover resistance ballasts, high frequency electronic ballasts and transistorised ballasts.NOTE. Requirements are also included for all those features of reference ballast construction and performance which are considered necessary to ensure accurate and reproducible results when testing ballasts, particularly with regard to the selection of reference lamps.
