適用范圍： This standard sets out the method for the preparation, curing and assess-ment of resistance to stripping in the presence of moisture of samples of cover aggre-gates (with or without treatment with precoating materials) from bituminous binders (with or without the addition of binder adhesion agents).It is not applicable to aggregate particles which pass a 9.50 mm sieve.NOTES:1. The test detailed in this standard is also known as the 'Plate Test' or 'Stripping Test'.2. Compliance by an aggregate with the requirements of this test method does not mean that satisfactory adhesion will be obtained in the field application. Due allowance must be made for factors which affect adhesion and which may be present in the field application such as the following:(a) Cleanliness of the aggregate.(b) Effectiveness with which precoating has been carried out.(c) The use of flux oil.(d) Ambient temperature and wind conditions.(e) Temperature of sprayed bitumen.(f) Binder application rate.(g) Adequacy and timing of rolling.(h) Rainfall, particularly within 4 h of spreading, (j) Time elapsed before the area is open to traffic.
