適用范圍：1.1 This standard prescribes essential features of design and construction of bolted flameproof cable couplers and adaptors up to and including 300 A rating, primarily for use in mines for coupling two cables or for coupling a cable to an apparatus at a supply voltage not exceeding 3·3 kV.1.2 Gable couplers and adaptors to this specification are not intended to be coupled or uncoupled while the circuit is live.1.3 Bolted flameproof cable couplers and adaptors up to 60 A rating and for voltages up to and including 660 volts covered by this standard are non-interchangeable type, whereas those with a rated current above 100 A but not exceeding 300 A, up to and including 3·3 kV are interchangeable type.Note — The non-interchangeable types do not allow interchangeability between couplers of different makes; but units of same make, type and rating shall be interchangeable.1.4 Cable couplers specified herein shall comprise of two units attached to one another by bolts, being so constructed as to permit subsequent separation of these units without disturbing the attachment of cable thereto.1.5 As a measure of guidance to the user, minimum information to be given with an enquiry or order is given in Appendix A.
