This document does not specifyrequirements for particular airplane models.NOTE: Particular airline or aircraft manufacturers’ published manuals, procedures, or methods supplement theinformation contained in this document.1.1.2 Agreements and ContractsThis information is recommended as a basis for maintenance operations and service support agreements.1.1.3 Safety - Hazardous MaterialsWhile the materials, methods, applications, and processes described or referenced in this specification may involve theuse of hazardous materials, this specification does not address the hazards which may be involved in such use. It is thesole responsibility of the user to ensure familiarity with the safe and proper use of any hazardous materials and processesand to take necessary precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of all personnel involved.1.1.4 All guidelines referred to herein are applicable only in conjunction with the referenced SAE specifications. Specificrequirements for airplane model type are not included. Due to aerodynamic and other concerns application ofdeicing/anti-icing fluids shall be carried out in compliance with engine and aircraft manufacturers’ requirements.
