適用范圍：This standard (Part 2 ) lays down recommendations for performing the 'pumping in' test, in which water is pumped under pressure into the test section in bedrock in drill holes for the determination of the permeability of bedrock. Both the single packer and double packer methods are covered. The standard only describes the pressure tests normally conducted in exploratory holes.Note—The falling head method is generally restricted to evaluation of permeability in soft rock and fault zone in hard rock. For these types of formations the procedure given in IS : 5529 ( Part 1 )-1985 'Code of practice for in-situ permeability tests: Part 1 Tests in overburden ( first revision ) ( under print) ' may be followed.
