適用范圍：Covers burglar-alarm system units intended for use in residences to protect a complete multiroom residence, one room of a residence, or one opening or area in a residence. Household burglar-alarm system units covered by these requirements consist of one or more unit assemblies of electrical components that are designed to detect the presence, movement, sound, or other activity of an intruder. Provisions are made for the connection of a power supply, remote control, and signal circuits by a prescribed method of wiring. These system units usually operate within the limits of Class 2 remote control and signal circuits as defined by Article 725 of the American National Standard National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70. This standard was originally listed in the October 13, 1995 issue of Standards Action. It is being resubmitted due to substantive changes to the text.
