適用范圍：1.1 This clause of IS : 302-1979* is applicable except as follows:1.1 Replacement — This standard covers the electric irons used for household and similar purpose.1.2 Replacement — This standard does not apply to:a) rotary irons;b) irons intended to be used in vehicles or on board ships or aircraft;c) steam irons;d) spray irons; ande) iron intended to be used in locations where special conditions prevail, such as the presence of a corrosive or explosive atmos-phere ( dust, vapour or gas ).Note — This standard does not take into account the special hazards which exist in nurseries and other places where there are young children or aged or persons without supervision; in such cases additional requirements may apply.
