適用范圍：This standard covers the requirements of four grades and types of electroplated coatings of nickel plus chromium, with a copper undercoat in many cases, on platable plastic substrates where appearance and durability are important. It is not applicable to such coatings on plastics used for engineering purposes.1.1 This standard does not cover the procedures for preparing plastics for electroplating but covers requirements for coatings approved subsequent to the application of metal film by autocatalytic deposition or subsequent to the application of any strike coatings after autocatalytic deposition.
