適用范圍：1.1 This standard specifies requirements for manually operated switches, such as tumbler switches, push-button switches and ceiling switches of the surface, semi-recessed or flush mounting ( piano ) type for domestic and similar general purposes; for wall or ceiling mounting, for incorporation in cords, having a rating up to and including 16 A and suitable for use on ac and dc circuits at rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.1.2 This specification does not cover contactors, circuit breakers, isolating switches, mercury switches, automatic temperature responseswitches, toggle switches for controlling electro-nic devices, switches including control switches on heating and cooking appliances, outdoor switches, switches making momentary contact, switch fuses or splitter units.1.3 This standard also covers bell push switches of 6 A rating and suitable for use on ac and dc circuits at rated voltage not exceeding 250 V.
