適用范圍：This Part of ISO 8130 is one of a series of standardsdealing with the sampling and testing of paints,varnishes and related products.It specifies a method for determining the flowcharacteristics of a fused thermosetting coatingpowder down a plane inclined at a set angle to thehorizontal.The result of the test described in this Part ofISO 8130 gives an indication of the degree of meltflow that may occur during the curing of the coatingpowder. This characteristic contributes to thecoherence of the coating, to its surface appearanceand to the degree of coverage over sharp edges.The test acts as a useful method for checking forbatch to batch variation in the behaviour of a givencoating powder. Correlation between the resultsfrom coating powders of differing composition is notto be expected.This method is unlikely to yield meaningful resultswith coating powders which have gel times of lessthan one minute at the test temperature whencharacterised according to ISO 8130-6.
