適用范圍：This International Standard establishes a list ofequivalent terms, in English, French and German,related to the main mechanical chains, classified inaccordance with their design and/or use, as well astheir principal components, fittings and sprockets. Itdoes not define terms.It is applicable to the patterns of chains andcomponents defined in the ISO standardsreferenced, as well as to many patterns of nonstandardizedchain that are used in specialapplications. As far as possible, the chains,sprockets and accessories are illustrated by anexample.NOTE In addition to terms used in English and French,two of the three official ISO languages, this InternationalStandard gives the equivalent terms in German; these arepublished under the responsibility of the member body forGermany (DIN). However, only the terms given in theofficial languages can be considered as ISO terms.
