標準簡介

This standard specifies the performance,tests,safety requirements,etc. of shunt capacitor installations for a.c. power systems having a rated voltage above 1 000 V,and provides a guide for installation and operation. This standard is applicable to shunt capacitor installations (hereinafter referred to as installations) used for power-factor correction of a.c. power systems having a rated voltage above 1 000 V and frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. This standard is not applicable to the capacitor installations or capacitor banks as following: —capacitor banks for inductive heating installation operating at frequencies between 40 Hz and 24 000 Hz; —series capacitor installations for power systems; —shunt capacitor banks and a.c. filter capacitor banks for HVDC transmission systems; —high voltage shunt capacitor installations consisted of self-healing capacitors; —shunt capacitor installations for a.c. power systems having a rated voltage up to and in
